bgoldhaber got their new postcard, flyer or print by running a design contest:
Design textbook handouts that will be in schools around the country
Check out bgoldhaber's Postcard, flyer or print contest…
The Bill of Rights Institute creates high-quality educational material focused on American History and Government for schools around the country.
What's your vision?
We're launching a new digital textbook that deals with the founding principles - such as rule of law, inalienable rights, etc. - and how they continue to be expressed in American government and society. To accompany the online portion we also have printable handouts that teachers will be able to use in the classroom to supplement or replace the online only aspect. We need these handouts designed. - The handouts will most likely be printed out in black and white, so the designs can't rely too much on color signals. - The color scheme of the website will be dark blue with lighter blue and red accents. But please don't feel constrained by those choices, we're open to any style. - Readability (for obvious reasons) is very important to us. - Attached is an example of a handout we've done in the past that we liked.
We have a lot of pages that we'd like designed - all in similar layouts to the one we uploaded - so its important that we have a continuing relationship with our designer. We expect to finish writing the course in the next two months, and then are hoping to release it at the end of February 2014. Over that time period we'd work to apply the design that you come up with in this contest to the other pages (and of course we'd pay for each additional unit).
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Postcard, flyer or print starts at $199.

It all began with a design brief.
A quick, interactive guide helped them understand their design style and captured exactly what they needed in their postcard, flyer or print.
Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
bgoldhaber collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
