We are looking for a flyer, possibly 8.5x11, but are open to sizing. Would want 2+ pages. Potentially will be distributing electronically. I am even open to a trifold if it still presents well in the flat for electronic distribution. We want to focus on our laser scanning service, but also include information about creating Building Information Models (BIMs) based on the scan data. We want something that looks modern and kind of techy. We would like for this piece to focus on the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industries. There is a page on our website that goes into a little detail about applications for this industry:
I would like for the piece to say "A Division of The Wassi Group, Inc." under or very near to our logo so that our current customers recognize who we are.
3D laser scanning can capture up to 1 million measurements per second with a 2 millimeter accuracy, at up to 330+ meters distance
Our goal is to capture precision 3d measurements while saving our customers time and money.

Capturing precision 3d measurements of the 3d world we live and work in. Quickly, Safely, and Accurately.
3D laser scanning creates a "cloud" of point data by shooting a laser 360 degrees in a full dome and recording the measurements returned with extreme accuracy. After the scanning phase is complete, the hardware then captures 360 degree panoramic photos. The color from the photos can then be applied to each corresponding point creating an accurate representation of the space that was scanned and effectively capturing reality.
After the point cloud is captured, US Laser Scanning and The Wassi Group can work together to ensure you receive the right type of deliverable for your project. This could be anything ranging from the point cloud data itself, to a mesh surface model, or a full Building Information Model capturing the building's structural, architectural, and MEP elements. We have the right solution for you!
3D Laser Scanning is Typically Used For:
-Documenting as-built conditions
-Surveying of existing conditions
-Building and site visualizations
-Structural integrity and deformation monitoring
Phase 1 - PLANNING - Perhaps the most important phase of a scanning project is planning. It is during this time that our team works closely with yours to decide what your project requirements are. This is when we will determine specifically how and where we are going to provide added value to your project in the form of time and actual dollars.
Phase 2 - SCANNING - Once we have created a "plan of attack" our team of skilled technicians will go to work in the field capturing data and scanning your project. Once we are confident that we have recorded all necessary features we will return to the office and begin for the next stage of the project.
Phase 3 - CREATING DELIVERABLES - It is during this final stage that everything starts to come together, literally. We will return to the office (or a location on site if desired) and begin to merge, or register, all of the individual scans in the project. The fully registered scan can then be geo-referenced to world coordinates or to a set of project specific coordinates. Where we really shine is when it comes to modeling from the point clouds. Whether it is a small portion of the project that needs to be modeled in Revit® or SolidWorks® or a full Building Information Model with "smart" geometry, we have you covered.
========================SHARING SCAN DATA========================
We have a solution for sharing scan and image data after it is captured as well.
Faro SCENE WebShare is an ideal product for being able to:
-Quickly and easily share scan data
-Take off measurements directly from the scan viewer
-Add notes and link to documentation specific to assets shown in scans
Most scan projects contain extremely large sets of data that are not easily sent to team members. This is where Faro SCENE WebShare comes into play!
WebShare is a web-based application that is hosted in the cloud. This allows for users to visualize the project and access information about it from any browser with an internet connection. Measurements can easily be taken off of the views from directly within the product. In addition, captions can be added that contain hyperlinks to websites or project specific documents. For example, annotations can be added directly to a point on an electrical panel. That note can then provide for labeling the panel as well as linking to a document with numbering for all of the circuits within that panel and the corresponding fixtures powered by those circuits.
