Accounting & Financial
A podcast that explores the best research and thinking on how to achieve financial success in retirement.
What's your vision?
I'm looking for something professional but not overly serious. The only strict requirement would be that "Retirement Prof" is clear and easy to read even as a small thumbnail. I would prefer to stay away from cliches (e.g., Adirondack chairs or a couple walking on the beach). I have included the logo I'm currently using as well, but I wouldn't consider it a requirement to include it. Other than that, I'm very open to creative ideas. DAY 1 UPDATE: - I really want "Retirement Prof" to be easy to read even as a small image on someone's cell phone. High contrast, clear font, and unobscured are all positives. - I'm looking for something optimistic and positive. Some of the submissions have seemed either too dark or may not present retirement in a positive manner. - Including the logo is not essential. If you have design ideas that you think are better without the logo, that is fine with me. DAY 2 UPDATE: - Many people have submitted designs that play off of the "Retirement" aspect of the brand, but I'm also interested in seeing some designs that might play off of the "Prof" aspect of the brand. I've uploaded a new formula sheet that has some relevant formulas that could be interesting to incorporate, perhaps in a very subtle way in the background. I'm open to other ideas as well. DAY 3 UPDATE: - I am liking the submissions playing off of the "Prof" theme more than the "Retirement" theme. I'm liking the chalkboard-style background with "Retirement Prof" being really easy to read. I've also liked some of the submissions with a hand written-type font for "Podcast" beneath "Retirement Prof" - The formula sheet I uploaded was only to give examples of formulas in case anyone wanted some. I was never intending that that particular image would play any role in the actual design (it's too low resolution and I don't like the formatting of it). I'm preferring designs that incorporate more of a natural-looking formulas on a chalkboard-type image. - The logo remains something that is not essential to have in the image, but I'm not really against it either.
