weke got their new podcast by running a design contest:
Podcast art must be eye-grabbing and curiosity-fuelling
Check out weke's Podcast contest…
Aimed at the 20-25 man and woman with a spark of curiosity. We're looking to learn from interesting people and get a better perspective on curiosity and self-educating leading into self-success
What's your vision?
Podcast cover art, one that maybe doesn't rely so much on the perfect square shape, though, it should fit into the standard podcast sizing. **Colours** I'm really liking the yellows/oranges/blues that are being used... could we try maybe some combinations of reds and greens too? Not all at together, but get on the colour wheel and play! Gradients, radial gradients are all welcome **Imagery** The podcast guests are coming from every industry- science/technology, police/firefighting/military, business, economics, travel, professional athlete, photographers, videographers, adventurers, designers, government, translators, historians, ethical hackers, astronauts...etc etc The audience are coming to learn something from these people so, maybe hints of these industries + ideas to show learning/curiosity. **AVOID some cliches like a microphone in the design. though, maybe swap the mic for a sunscreen bottle/tube? I'm into minimalist design, but not a text-only look.
****DO NOT GET TOO FOCUSED ON SUNSCREEN AND BEACHES**** It will give the wrong impression of what the podcast is about. *The Podcast is called "Wear Sunscreen - Tips for the Future" inspired by Baz Luhrmann's reading of "Wear Sunscreen". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZmi7InKU0I ***Addition- Several designers are using woman's faces, I think a male face would be better as I am a man...Included images... My face IS NOT important to the design, more as reference if you want to use a face- at least it'll be me
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Podcast starts at $199.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
