Benephactor is a platform that allows content creators and influencers to receive regular payments from their audience. Our software can be setup by any blogger, youtuber, or other creator. Each influencer will be allowed to change the banner/hero image as well as specify an accent color that recurs throughout the site. Since users are able to customize their sites we need base styling that isn't going to clash with folks who have different brands. Here are 4 resources to help you produce your designs: 1. There are screenshots of the onboarding/setup process for new influencers https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1geAarozkDbycS4AVzL0-KLJ8Mr7O0Dnc?usp=sharing 2. https://demo.benephactor.org Message me for a username and password to login and see the administrator pages 3. https://demo.benephactor.org Finally you can create a new account and use the credit card number 4242 4242 4242 4242 with any future date for expiration and any 3 digit code. Then you can see how the signup process works 4. Here is a list and screenshots of all in-scope pages that need your love: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Md1wxfx7hAnw5HZXJ1nUEfq7D78SlSQH4cOkaUakNTc/edit?usp=sharing The post section is the most important to get right. since that's where most interaction will happen. Harvest is a little too corporate and boring looking, but they are solving similar problems and their interface is simple and easy to use, which I appreciate. I think the home page and posts page are great places to start. Those are the most interactive pages and the ones that are most key to both my customers and their audiences. If you want to send over some initial ideas or concepts for my comments feel free to do so. I will be managing this contest very actively and seek to be extremely responsive.
What's your vision?
The user interface for the entire application needs to be designed. This includes all pages for both users and administrators. There is no need to spend time designing every different login/forgot password etc screen. Just do one of them and we can figure out the rest. The application is already largely functional and we're mostly interested in tightening up the different pages and making the site more attractive.
We're definitely open to switching to a left navigation for either the influencer or logged in experience. Harvest has a great UI but is a little corporate and boring (https://www.getharvest.com/) I also think Stripe is one of the most easy to use and intuitive sites I've interacted with. https://stripe.com/ Both have free trials if you want to see how they work.
