An AI guide that could be your future high school counselor

We want to expand educational guidance by using Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Gamification methods to personalize and accelerate every student’s path to higher education. Though the immediate goal is providing college admissions guidance, the ultimate vision is to create an educational navigation system where students can gain streamlined guidance with opportunities, scholarships, identity exploration, and soft skills building. Target audience are 9th-12th Graders who want an educational guidance/management system in a more streamlined, affordable way.

We want a Responsive Desktop Web Application. Focus UI Design for high school students. For the home page, PROFILE, we want to display five tabs. 1. Profile - Student's main dashboard to view/manage their profile and access to unlock "opportunities" - It will possess the four category metrics for keeping track of student progress: Identity, EQ, Academics, and Extracurriculars (Refer to the Profile Mockup we made, but needs to be refined and translated for the Web App) - Space for updates and messages (notification) 2. Timeline - Feed - Student's milestone timeline filled with their uploaded photos and videos 3. Guidance - Advice - Text message from our AI (Artificial Intelligence) bot with guidance information 4. Guidance - Task - A "module" that requires input like choosing multiple choices [4-5] from a survey or uploading text, photo, and video from the Student 5. Metric Score - Calculated based on the level of activity from student and generates a "best fit" college list based on that score These five tabs are crucial to our home page. As the contest progresses, we are serious about collaboration with the winning designer we choose beyond the contest to continue designing more pages. As a reminder, you are only designing ONE page for this competition that possesses five tabs. These five tabs are integrative and integral to the whole.

IMPORTANT: Please refer to the Style Guide for colors, fonts, and logo deconstruction. In terms of the theme, we would like to have a minimalist approach. The message we want to send to every user is that we can maximize potential within our limitations. Our target audience will not be enamored by glitz and glamour; they just want a direct clear channel to better their lives through education
