Escali manufactures scales, timers and thermometers. Our primary markets are both home and professional kitchens.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We need artwork designed for a new counter top display unit (CDU) to hold a series of 24 kitchen thermometers. Each thermometer would stick into the unit vertically, with the probe end in the CDU and the handle visible to the customer.
The CDU will have a piece of high density foam in the base with holes to match those above. This allows for two points of contact, and should keep the thermometers upright and evenly spaced.
The content we need to see on the display at a minimum includes: our brand, the product name & model number, the temperature range, the legal copy which includes the copy write statement (somewhere small on the bottom out of sight,) a large lifestyle image/texture of chicken (or similar) and 1-2 high level benefits. Other notes
The CDU will primarily be displayed in gourmet kitchen retailer stores (such as Sur la table), but may also be displayed in professional restaurant retailers/distributors (such as Restaurant Depot.) So, we need to maintain some flexibility in the design & copy. The thermometer comes in 5 colors, so there will be a few of each color in the CDU (black, blue, red, green, orange.)
