Jbyrd4u got their new other design by running a design contest:
Zugo: A Wrapper's Delight

Food & Drink
Zugo is an organic juice, smoothie, elixir, coffee, tea "food" truck about to launch in Los Angeles.
What's your vision?
This is a contest for the comprehensive wrap of our truck not a stand alone logo. If in your great genius a logo comes forth....so be it, otherwise, look at the mockups I've included, read through the description and subsequent notes thoroughly, and create a front, back, passenger, and driver side wrap design.Pay particular attention to the placement of things in my mockup. Try to copy that as closely as possible The key factors that I would like to remain despite what design we go with: 1. the clean/simple/understated delivery of the idea (ie not a bunch of clutter to fill the space. we like space. space is the place). A great example of this is in the Snap-On layout we're covering up from the truck jpegs. 2. In regard to color in general, think eye catching but not so as to prevent the typography from being legible. This could be either dark or light. 3. the product/contact information on the respective sides of the truck as some of it is there by law and the rest by common sense and we don't have time to delineate which is which so copy the info placement from my mockup especially on passenger and back door. 4. the geometry, in fact, if you're looking for a route to go down for logos to incorporate this is it. I'm a freak for tessellations, platonic solids, esoteric geometry, etc. how that ties into juice, smoothies...well, let's be honest it doesn't :) 5. Lastly, the font. Think simple but highly stylized and legible.
Another follow up note as of 7/2/13: Please review the actual truck jpegs and note where the windows are as we want to keep all graphics, fonts, and design OFF them. Repeat: Nothing on the windows please! Thanks Everybody! This is a follow up note as of 7/1/13 to my original description above: The product shots, menu, and truck jpegs are just there for reference, to give you some extra inspiration for your work, and insight into where we are coming from with our product line. They are going to be used on the website exclusively. Please, do not use them in your design. Again, NO FOOD OR DRINK IMAGES OF ANY SIZE, SHAPE, OR COLOR. My competition has already saturated the market with O's replaced by oranges, and U's fashioned to look like cups full of juice, and the like. You guys are better than this. Important! Read and Understand Thoroughly!: Our clientele are 20-60 yr old, health conscious, professionals living in the greater Los Angeles metro area so please do keep that in mind when approaching this and resist any urges to submit overt rainbow coloring, or images of trucks with smiley faces, or fruits with smiley faces holding hands while running down a rainbow path with a smiling truck waving in the not too distant horizon. We try not to take ourselves too seriously but ultimately we will be parked at adult locations, serving adults :) Original Notes: The mockup of the wrap I've included would've have looked "great"(ish) in '83 but doesn't really translate to '13. So you could potentially treat this project in two ways: - we are an established company from that era ('83) looking for a makeover/update to our original vision without compromising the branding we've already worked to achieve OR - completely take the reigns and blow my mind with something new and original of yours (keeping in mind the notes from the description) Ive attached both "blank" pdfs of the truck for drafting and a zip file of Illustrator templates you'll be potentially uploading your final directly to wrapping firm's website. Please contact me directly with any further questions, comments, concerns.
