larsba got their new other design by running a design contest:
A set of children's fairy labels

My Nametags (https://www.mynametags.com) sells customised iron-on and sticker nametags for labelling children’s clothing and equipment. Our nametags are sold across Europe. The main target group for My Nametags is a mother with young children (2-6 years old), probably 24-48 years old. She is likely to be affluent / middle class and up, and is more likely to use Apple devices than the average. The theme labels that you will design will be sold on our website. Once a customer has ordered, the product will be created, printed and posted to the customers.
What's your vision?
We would like you to design a set of fairy theme labels, in a similar style to the nametags we offer on https://www.mynametags.com. The labels should appeal to a five year old girl, as well as to her mother. We expect 5-7 different fairy designs in a set. Each fairy design label will have 1 or 2 lines of text (with 3-12 characters per line), and each label will either be a standard rounded rectangles (c. 30x13mm) or a different shape. We would welcome some standard rounded rectangles and we would also like to see some other shapes/sizes. It is enough to design the 5-7 different fairy design labels separately for the initial round of this contest. For the finalists, we would like you to set up your labels in our standard set. You will then fit a multiple of these labels into the into the 126 x 211mm shape in the attached Adobe Illustrator file (see the notes below). A good design must • Fit with our current style of labels on https://www.mynametags.com • Strike a good balance between great design and not overpowering the text on each label • Be practical - these stickers have to be peeled off and put on children's clothing, shoes and equipment • Be fun and loved by small children (“Look at my new nametags, they are GREAT!”) We are really looking forward to seeing your ideas.
We would expect that the winning design will create 10-20 further sets of theme labels (e.g. a dinosaur theme, a ballet theme, etc), so it would be good if you could indicate the price for additional 5 or 10 sets. Please see the Adobe Illustrator file attached for sample theme labels. We would expect to have 40-55 labels, with around 5-7 different designs (for example 8 labels each of 6 different fairy design labels). All the labels need to fit inside the confines of 126mm wide x 211 mm tall box, and should have a clear layer with distinctive cutting lines (see sample file for details). Please note that there are some technical issues around how close labels can be to each other etc. that is explained in the Illustrator file. Please pay attention to these instructions.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Other design starts at $299.
