A 150-year-old street market in London with stalls selling (among other things) fruit & vegetables, antiques, fashion, brocants/bric-a-brac, jewellery, crafts, household goods, decorative items, cosmetics, gifts, souvenirs, and fresh, packaged & prepared food (eg street food).
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A logo or 'bug' that must incorporate or be compatible with the
existing traders' association's "Shop Portobello" graphics
(http://www.shopportobello.co.uk). It must include "150 years" (no
other words, numbers or typographic symbols). Also, your design will
be used alongside other potential partner logos, such as The Royal
Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and Westway Development Trust, so it
should look clean and professional. In general, flat colours would
work better than gradients - imagine that your design might sometimes
be reproduced only in black & white and should still be bold and
