They are looking for exciting, new, different point of sale with a 'WOW' factor which can be used to raise the profile of their brands
Their products are sold in supermarkets, pubs, hotels and restaurants.
The products comprise well known, high quality gin and vodka brands
The challenge for you is to design an item which can be used to draw customers into the product and make them want to buy it.
At this stage, the name of the product and shape of the bottle are not important. In fact, do not use any logos in your design
The key factor is the idea must be GENUINELY INNOVATIVE. It's not considered an innovation if it has already been done / proposed elsewhere.
Next time you visit a restaurant or hotel, look at how the bottles are displayed at the back bar. What could you design that would make a bottle stand out from the crowd? Maybe it's something that could be placed on the front of bar, on the wall, on the tables or used by the bar staff.
There is no guideline price to work within. If they like the idea, they'll find the budget to make it!
If our client chooses your idea, they will ask for 6 months exclusivity in return for showcasing your idea to the entire Group across the world.
