scamstuffstore got their new other design by running a design contest:
Design a Limited Edition Challenge Coin for Brian Brushwood & The Modern Rogue
Check out scamstuffstore's Other design contest…
The Modern Rogue is an episodic show (1+ million Youtube subscribers strong) designed to make you the ultimate gentleman, warrior, and scoundrel. In short, Brian Brushwood and Jason Murphy are creating disastrous lessons in badassery. Scam Nation (formerly Scam School) is at nearly 2 million subscribers, and dedicated to learning bar tricks and scams to score free drinks at the bar. Night Attack is a comedy podcast. All were launched by Brian Brushwood, a touring magician. Check out The Modern Rogue at youtube.com/modernrogue Check out Scam nation at youtube.com/scamnation Night attack is at nightattack.tv Just over a year ago, Brian acquired a 7-acre property in West Austin to expand all the above operations. It's been called anything from the "modern rogue world headquarters" to the "seven acre shwood" (a reference to brian's handle, @shwood) But, it needed a lot of work, so we asked our fans and friends to chip in and join The Founders Club: a group of 999 people who helped make essential repairs and improvements to HQ. Now, we'd like to reward them with a super rad challenge coin. Something that says "I'm part of an elite tribe of people who chipped in to expand this story, right when Brian needed it most. That's where you come in. We'd like you to design this limited edition one-of-a-kind piece of Modern Rogue history.
What's your vision?
We'd like both sides of a challenge coin designed. We've included in challenge coins we've used for previous products (mostly puzzle boxes) that have been released (see images labeled Relic, Artifact, Vault, and Tavern) as well as Modern Rouge T-shirt designs, the iconic poker chip BB logo that has tied together all of Brian Brushwood's endeavors thus far, and some images of challenge coins that we think look cool. Feel free to draw from any or all of this, or create something entirely new. Whatever the design is, it should probably have some variation of a BB logo in it. Good luck!
One side of the coin should have a small area where an individual number can be etched. We also plan to have a plaque made listing all 999 founders, and if your design or elements of it could be used as central design elements on that plaque, that would be a bonus, but there's not need to submit a plaque mockup with your challenge coin design. Just something to keep in mind. Also, please note that some of the sample images given are from challenge coins we've done in the past.
