We make a consumer device to dispense eye drops in an easy and comfortable manner.
This will be used by adults aged 30 - 80 using eye drops regularly. Simplicity and ease-of-use is very important. Ergonomics are also very important.
3D Design for a handheld device to fit over the eye of an adult user to align an eye-drop bottle to dispense eyedrops electromechanically directly onto the eye.
The device should fit a single eye-drop bottle inside.
The device should be about the size of a salt shaker.
The device should have only one button so that it easy to use. It should be easy to clean and have smooth surfaces with no creases or crevices.
The device should have elements of a healthcare/medical product, but should still be designed like a consumer product.
The device should have a small dock to charge on.
The device should have soft materials so that it is comfortable to hold and use.
I have attached a basic reference design, reference for the eye drop bottles, and reference for the application of eye drops into the eye.
A rudimentary sketch demonstrates how the device interfaces with the user, and aligns with the eye.
I have also attached a reference image of a charging dock.
I have also attached the logo and icon. Winning designs will find discrete and tasteful ways to incorporate the icon and the color scheme.
Winning designs will carefully take the reference images into account.
Winning designs will be able to deliver an editable CAD file (surface model only)
