Did a nice job of interpreting and following the creative brief from the very beginning. That led to accurate designs in the first round, with very few revisions in the finalist round. From the very start of the process, the design reflected exactly the type of brand identity we wanted.

We're launching our game-changing app later this year--think Uber, Priceline, TripAdvisor big...and we need a designer to sketch/design our CEO's portrait for our website.
Upside is a better way to buy business travel. For the first time ever, business travelers will love saving money for their companies, because when they do, they earn free Gift Cards for themselves to spend any way they want at their favorite stores.
Our Flexibility Engine saves companies 5-15% on business travel while employees earn instant Gift Cards from their favorite stores to spend any way they want after buying an Upside Package.
Our app is in BETA testing at the moment and we're slated for a public launch at the end of 2016/beginning of 2017.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
A Wall Street Journal-style drawing of CEO Jay Walker's headshot (i.e. hedcut/line sketch/stipple). See example and headshot for portrait design attached.
The graphic must be high-resolution, but we are open to how the graphic is designed. We simply want the portrait to mimic the WSJ-style look and feel with a white-out background.
We will need various file formats to upload to our website.
The portrait will be used on our website's homepage, above the fold (http://www.upside.com). This site is mobile optimized for viewership across all devices.
