abatardi needed a new other design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 10 designs submitted by 4 freelance designers.
Dibbsly is a 5 month old startup specializing in the daily deal space. No, we are not a Groupon clone -- but we do consolidate content from Groupon and dozens of others into one easy to use interface that shows users deals based on their current location.
25-40 year olds, predominantly women
These are some simple changes we want to incorporate into our UI. Our current designer that we use is MIA so we are looking for someone to fill that void. We have more work for the right designer also if interested.
For this project, we are looking for someone to basically just take a screenshot of one of our existing pages, for example http://www.dibbsly.com/denver or http://www.dibbsly.com/san-jose and to create a mock up of incorporating a few new navigational elements on the page. If you feel you are a rock star UI designer, we would LOVE input on how to shift elements on the UI to make things flow better and easier to use.
Elements we would like to add:
1) Pagination - some type of cool pagination control somewhere on the page to be able to navigate through deals easier (would be 10 deals per page).
2) A Search Box
3) Make the categories filter box look better/cleaner
Nothing on the page is really set in stone. If you think the controls should be on the left, just move them there, etc.
This does NOT need to be a high quality job, hence the price we are working on for now. This just needs to be a rough mock based on the current site. We are more interested in your ideas and finding a great person we could work with in the future for more design needs.
If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
