How BFS started their other graphic design journey
We are a software engineering company operating through a few divisions. Each division delivers a particular service, but all of them are about software engineering. Each division has its own website and each website uses the same template, they only differ in contents and logos. Here are two of our divisions:
p i v o t a l c r m s u p p o r t . c o m
b u g f r e e s o l u t i o n s . c o m
We need a header for our division template. The header should be universal and work for any of our division websites, it will be placed on all of them. This is easy to achieve because the template is the same for every division. An example of a similar header created for a similar website template is here: p a g u s a n o . c o m. Don't confuse this example with what is required in this contest, this is just an example to illustrate WHAT needs to be done, not HOW.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Coporatations and SMEs buying software engineering services.
Contents: The header should create an impression of a website of a robust, precise, well managed, medium sized, friendly software engineering services provider. The contents should work for any type of software engineering service, including software development, web development, support and maintenance, third party software implementation and customisation, and so on. Clearly the headers should not contain anything specific to one division only, however it is okay to use specific things in a general context, like depicting a range of services. Meaningless stock pictures should not be used (like a few men wearing suits and doing something irrelevant to real work). Creative approach, authoring are welcome.
Technical Details: The header should be a picture (width: 595px; height: 197px;), or preferably a set of a few pictures with a similar style that would rotate in the header. If you can deliver a flash rotating those pictures that's even better. The colours of the header should not contradict the template colour scheme, the header should blend into the surroundings. The header will be located to the right of the logo as in the similar website given above.
