Just started making some 2D Game for Android Phones. But as much I like programming these things, I just can't make a single Stroke for the Design. Thats too bad, and now I wan't to give it a Try here, hope it works :-)
Devices: Android Smartphones. Persons: Who ever likes to play some really simple but funny Games we liked to play Decades before..
The Game is actually some kind of Remake of the Nintendo LifeBoat from the GameAndWatch Series.
Here you can see it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jc5ouvNGByY
I don't wan't it to be a 1:1 copy, but I like the Gameplay itself. The Design, however, can be very different: It could be the original burning Ship Story, or maybe with Space Ships, or I even thought of Beer Cans falling down, and a poor Guy having to fetch them and delivering them to the left and right, who knows why (the Sense/Story should be as clear as possible for somebody who plays the Game for the first time).
So what I exactly need is this:
- 1 background image (800x480px landscape)
- 1 Ship / Box or something to catch the falling Objects (around 200px wide, I guess, and transparent to be moveable over the bg)
- 1 falling Object (Mans, Beer Cans, ..), optionally in different falling states, once in Ship/Box state, once in dead/dropped state, and one in saved state. All transparent. 4 Objects have to be placeable besides each other in the Ship/Box
- Optional: Some Animation if Player let it slip (In our Lifeboat Example it is a Shark). Transparent.
