How Warwick Hills started their other graphic design journey
ChilliHilli is a recently launched brand of baby/kids products.
Our philosophy at ChilliHilli is to look at things a little differently. We’ll take something very everyday and make it easier to use, more fun to
play with or just better looking.
Our first product was a series of neoprene baby bottle coolers with cute designs for kids. We have a number of new products planned including neoprene pouches for nappies (diapers) and soft storage containers for kids.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our primary target audience is mothers of babies and toddlers (kids ages 0-4 yrs).
They consider themselves stylish and like their kids to look good (as an extension of their own image). They are active and have their kids "out and about" often - playing in the park, at friends etc.
We are seeking new design themes for our next round of baby bottle coolers. We also want to transfer this theme to our next product - a neoprene nappy satchel. We have inhouse designers to manage size and print specs etc for the manufacturer so we are simply seeking the design themes/images that we can use as a basis for a range of variants.
Our initial product designs (see our website http://www.chillihilli.com.au) have been deliberately "cute". They appeal to the kids but not necessarily to their parents. So with our new range (this brief) we require more contemporary designs that appeal to parents as well as kids - both boys and girls. I've attached a number of images to demonstrate the types of styles/designs we like.
The best designs will be simple (as they are to be printed on textiles), elegant and cheerful. Preferably they can be adapted using different colour palettes to create a product range.
