I was very impressed with the creativity of this designer. His work stuck to my brief and any revisions were completed quickly. I hope to work with him again.
How gopipers started their other graphic design journey
HighendAgents is an invite-only network of the nation's most accomplished and esteemed real estate agents, each of whom is ranked in the Top 5% in their area. HighendAgents operates as a free, no obligation service geared toward helping individuals meet their perfect agent. These agents' unique experiences and expertise give you a distinct advantage, whether you are buying or selling a home.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are targeting homeowners wanting to sell their property, and home buyers wanting to buy property. Our market is for properties worth $500,000 and up. We want users who want the best real estate agent (Realtor) for their property.
We want two graphics that are tightly related. The first graphic is a 1-2-3 explanation of how our service works. The second graphic is a simple image that encapsulates the service we provide. Both are on a form conversion page, and while they should be clear and concise, they should not distract the user from completing the form.
For the first, the diagram should touches on the three main steps of our process - 1) a user describes the house they want to buy or sell (NOTE - An alternative #1 suggested by a coworker is to "fill out a simple form. It only takes 1 minute". This form would be the obvious next step on the website and a direct call-to-action for the user) , 2) they find and compare top agents and 3) they close on their house with the help of the agent. Examples of this 1-2-3 type graphic appear on the following sites: http://www.eharmony.com/ (4 steps) http://www.chegg.com/
I have attached a diagram of my rough thoughts in this area.
The second part is a graphic image that captures the idea of our service. This graphic should be simple, somewhat bland, and not dominate a plain page. Good examples of the type of drawing are:
This house: https://www.lowermybills.com/lendin…index.loan
Simple image from Geico: http://www.geico.com/landingpage/go…gwod439Z4w
For this, my thoughts are for a sketch of a house with a SOLD sign in front. The key here is minimal design and color needed to reinforce the site's purpose.
Please feel free to be creative with your solutions.
