PeerMentoring.com
Seattle, Washington-based Peer Mentoring is a corporate management firm offering a 1-day workshop that teaches people to be better on-the-job trainers.
Originally developed for Microsoft more than 10 years ago, Peer Mentoring has helped thousands of people and teams cross-train, transfer knowledge and bring new staff up to speed quickly and efficiently. The workshop uses plain language and delivers practical tools that can be put to work right away. It fundamentally improves the way subject matter experts communicate with and train each other.
More information can be found at the Workshop portion of our website: http://www.peermentoring.com/pm/
Peer Mentoring has been taught to thousands of people at Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, Nike, Electronic Arts, Boeing, Intel, and Kodak.
The workshop is targeted a three audiences: 1) Executive Managers who seek a company-wide solution to knowledge transfer 2) Peer Mentors who are taught to share what they know in a straightforward way, and 3) Apprentices, or "mentees" (often new employees, or employees recently promoted or reorganized) who are the recipients of the knowledge transfer and thus are brought up-to-speed on their jobs in a more rapid, practical fashion.
We have been using the same PPT theme for the past 10 years and it's showing its age. We'd like two simple deliverables:
1) A PowerPoint theme we can use for this presentation, showing font styles, colors, and hierarchy of bullets.
2) A reworked graphic (slide 4, below) to match the new theme
I have attached a PPT with four slides:
Slides 1-2 show how the current theme looks. It uses a graphic in the upper left which is our logo and is not to be changed. (However, where and how that logo is used is up for grabs with you!) We also need to keep the purple color, as we have a lot of printed material with purple. (However, we welcome new colors to complement the purple.)
Slide 3 is a purple pyramid with yellow text. I'd love to have you suggest a new color for the text, which preferably relates to the new theme you're creating.
Slide 4 is a graphic which is presented as a phased animation. The notes section of the slide explains the ideas that are being taught in the slide, so the items in the graphic need to remain (eg. bucket, ocean, sludge). I would like a reworked graphic which matches the theme that you are creating. (Essentially, help make this graphic match the new theme)
All 4 slides contain notes which help explain what we are looking for in this project.
