Guardian Watch, LLC
In 2009 there were approximately 24 million crimes committed, 20 million medical emergencies, and 200 million other calls made to 911. Of those calls, 120 million were made on mobile phones with cameras. What if we were to somehow use the 208 million mobile phones in the US to shoot a video of the emergency and get that to first responders who are headed to the scene?
Guardian Watch is a patent pending mobile phone and web-application for the public observing an emergency to provide First Responders with what we in the business call, “Visual Awareness”.
We take advantage of today’s mobile phone cameras and GPS capabilities to map live-stream videos from the scene to our secure website, where 911 and other security organizations are able to actively monitor their jurisdictions, and see through the application
Inside Guardian Watch, we’ve structured the social networking around communities so neighbors can be directly connected with each other, trained, and prepared to respond to emergencies and help each other until the authorities arrive.
We encourage the observer to go to their account via the web, and journal their story in a manner that details the incident for authorities, but also creates some interesting content to share with their community and friends, creating traffic back to the website and on the mobile apps.
Our Vision is that Guardian Watch will be on every mobile device in the world, and as intuitive to use as dialing 911 is today.
We want to take the image we have of the bald eagle in the attached logo and create an animated mascot similar to Smokey the Bear (http://www.smokeybear.com/vault/history_main.asp) and Sergent McGruff (http://www.mcgruff.org/). The eagle needs to be full figure.
We've thought about him something as a "superman" with the "G" eye on his chest, or maybe a uniformed officer with the G eye as a badge on his chest pocket or shoulder sleeve.
Feel free to be creative, but with the look of the eagle from our logo.
I just added two photos of a sheriff and police chief uniform to use as a guide. He doesn't need to have a cape. Think "Indiana Jones" but without the whip....
