Thomas.mai needed a new other design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 3 designs submitted by 2 freelance designers.
ProfitScope
We have an app on the iTunes store. Please go to
http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/prof…?mt=8&uo=4
to read more about the app. You can download the app for free and try it out (it is ad supported) We recommend you spend 5 - 10 min on the app to fully understand it.
We need help with the design elements of the 2 screens that we are using in the program. Look at the iPhone screenshots on the iTunes store or attached here. As you can see we need help in making a better design. The current design is very boring and the colors are "pale".
We have 2 jobs for the designer.
1. We are looking for someone who can make the 2 pages look cool, interesting and businesslike for the iPhone. The actual app is very cool and powerful and we feel that is not reflected in the current design.
2. We also need to create a new design for the upcoming version of ProfitScope for the iPad. As you might know the iPad has more screen space and we need a design that uses the large screen that iPad has without loosing the primary function of the program. Maybe all the functions and information could be fitted on 1 single page?
The design could be inspired by our logo for the app attached as the file named 4.
Our App is not for everyone. As it deals with a powerful time vs income analyzer it is meant for business use, project managers and anyone who is juggling multiple projects and need to know what to prioritize. Obviously the user downloading our app already have an iPhone and is therefore a person who appreciates good design and style. This also means that our user is very familiar with the Apple universe and their design and user interface. Please have this in mind when submitting proposals.
We need a design that compliment our one of a kind app.
Please understand that we have programmers who will translate the winning design into code. We are only looking for design ideas not programmers. There is no need requirement to understand coco or any other programming language :-)
It is a requirement to be familiar with the Apple universe including iTunes and iPhone & iPad.
