New design wanted for The Political Ladder

book about working in politics
What's your vision?
Book cover! The book is called The Political Ladder: Insider Tips on Getting a Job in Politics by Alexandra Acker-Lyons. It is a bi-partisan "how to" book about political jobs, how to land one, and the campaign life. Includes info on campaigns, Capitol Hill, advocacy organizations, lobbying, consulting as well as perfecting your resume, what to do in an interview, etc. I need a front cover and back cover design. Both should be clean, classic, clutter-free, easy to read, jump off a shelf. (I could be convinced that some kind of collage works if the title really jumps, though.) NO stock photos of the Capitol, White House, ballot boxes, check marks, American flags, etc. Something with a ladder is fine. Creativity is great here but I don't want anything super-expected or cheesey. Front cover is ideally just name of book and author, maybe with a subtle photo or graphic. Think "blink." Back cover will be a summary, endorsement quotes, and a brief author bio and photo. Again: simple, clean, classic, no clutter, easy to read.
May lead to other work. Target audience is mainly college students, recent grads, and career switchers interested in working in politics. Audience is likely almost entirely under age 30. Bi-partisan focus.
