Designs were very close to brief. Very fast turnaround and just really is to deal with. I am very happy with the designs and the whole process.

For this particular product I am looking to create a very cool looking ebook that I want teenage boys (primarily) and girls AS WELL AS their coaches and parents, to find cool enough to pick up and start reading. If it looks like every other boring nutrition book the odds are that no kids will want to read it. If the cover is still mature enough that the coaches will want to read it, at least they can pass it on to the kids as well.
I'll keep it really simple. I want the designer to remember that this is for young athletes. If you look at the things that stimulate young teens right now it's video games, sleek looking computers, cool looking team logos, etc. They are also heavily involved in facebook and the feeling of community. The name of this ebook is the "Teen Sports Nutrition Blueprint" (I still haven't come up with a subtitle so if possible, I'd like the native file so I can add that at the appropriate time). If you could however, I would like a placeholder text for the subtitle so I have an idea of spacing and word constraints when I do decide. This book is meant to convey the concept of proper sports nutrition, but realize that there is a lot of misinformation out there and confusing things for a kid to try and understand. Maybe on the cover, there could be an athlete (or a group of different teen athletes from different sports) that are being stopped in their tracks by a greasy cheeseburger or something (to convey the idea of bad nutrition preventing good performance). There could be one athlete however that has the "blueprint" or "step by step" solution for getting around the others and he will ultimately be the one that performs well. This is just a thought and your creativity is welcome. Thanks....Jeff
