How Colin Nunn started their other graphic design journey
We need an image that will quickly visually convey the message that an advert or poster is “Click-Enabled” for cell phones.
Click-Enabled means that the cell phone user can take a photo of the ad or poster send it to a 5 digit short code e.g. “88777” and receive back multimedia information related to the advert, for example a video clip, audio clip, money off voucher.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Design brief for “Click-Enabled” Advertising Icon.
We need an image that will quickly visually convey themessage that an advert or poster is “Click-Enabled” for cell phones.
Click-Enabled means that the cell phone user can take aphoto of the ad or poster send it to a 5 digit short code e.g. “88777” andreceive back multimedia information related to the advert, money off voucher, buy a ticket etc.
For instance: whilst looking at a poster advertising the“Pirates of the Caribbean” movie at a bus stop, a person sees that the posterhas an icon/image on it that tells them they can interact with the ad byphotographing it and sending to “88777” to get more information. They can thenfor instance play the movie trailer on the phone / get a website link.
The image needs to be designed to be suitable for a varietyof poster subjects not just for the example given and to be suitable for largeposters / billboards as well as CD/ DVD covers. It will also need to ‘cut’ on pretty muchany colour background.
The user demographic is maily aged under 30 but the technology is open to all.
- Small but must be eye-catching (small part of a large image)
- The poster CD cover etc is brand sensitive. This must not interfere with the brand.
