How Council Bluffs started their other graphic design journey
We are a 5 piece all original alternative rock band from Washington, DC. This is a 6 track EP. The songs are alternative/modern rock tunes and the lyrics are about the lead singer's ex-girlfriend. The tunes tend to be more upbeat but with darker lyrics, meant to represent the duality of things. We'd like to capture that in the album which is going to be called "exactly as they were." The title of the album is meant to be open to interpretation so feel free to flex your creativity. We are completely open to suggestions and thoughts on the design of our first EP. It can be photograph or an illustration, we are open to whatever. If it helps, you can hear our music at http://www.facebook.com/councilbluffs to get an idea about our music.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Hipsters, occasional music listeners, pretty much everyone. This album will also be submitted to clubs and radio stations for gigs and air play. The promo art (which will be the album art) will also be posted in music stores, coffee shops, etc in the greater Washington, DC area.
Please use templates included in this posting as guidelines for the images needed.
Images must be at least 300 DPI.
We need a vectorized image of just the front of the album cover for promo posters, website, etc.
For the disc design, please only use 3 colors. On the album, it will be full color.
The album must have the band name "Council Bluffs" and the album name "exactly as they were" appear on it. Feel free to stylize that as you feel is appropriate.
On the back, please list the tracks :
