Ben Minutoli got their new other clothing or merchandise by running a design contest:
Design a beer bottle holder (Koozie) to be held by thousands!
Check out Ben Minutoli's Other clothing or merchandise contest…
At Geelong Cable Locations we go out to site and show customers where the underground cables and pipes are buried so when they do there digging they don't cut anything. So another words, say for example you are installing a new front fence at your house. Well before you can start using the mechanical post hole digger to dig down the new post holes for the fence you really should first find out what is underground so you don't damage anything, because the last thing you want to do is hit a gas pipe or a power cable or anything else really that may be underground.
What's your vision?
I need to get a stubby holder (Australian terminology) also known as a Koozie (american terminology) designed. Dimensions - Width 20.5cm x Height 11cm I will be giving them out to all my customers and their friends and all potential customers. I want this to stand out from the boring crowd! When people are with there friends having a beer, I want them them to look at the holder and for it to them start a conversation between them. Be it "ahh thats right we need to still book in a cable locator" or "hey, we could have used these guys the other day" or "ahh look these guys take bookings on there website, lets book them in while I remember for that job we have next week" You can put a fair bit of detail on there as they will have time to read it. But at the same time I want it to look neat, be easy to read and also stand out. When you add the website address can you make the first letter of the business name a lot bigger than the rest of the website address. So another words I want the G which is the start of GEELONG, the C which is the start of CABLE and the L which is the start of LOCATIONS to be bigger than the rest of the website address.
To give you more of an idea of who we are and what we do, take a look at our website - www.geelongcablelocations.com.au I have about 20 stubby holders from different companies, most a plain and boring. However there are 3 of them that have nice designs on them and stand out. Check out this video of what I like: http://youtu.be/-YWbL9PPMeQ I have also attached a copy of logo and also a group of cartoons that we use in our marketing to demonstrate the different services we offer. Note if you need any different file type to what I have uploaded let me know and I will upload them. My initial idea for the design is to have all the cartoons along the bottom, all locating a continuous cable and then have the backhoe cutting the cable at the end of it. But it was just an idea and I'm more that happy for you to try and ideas you have. I have also attached a copy of our letterhead and business cards and other marketing we do to give you a guide to what we have done in the past. Lastly I have also attached a logo from 'Dial Before You Dig'. DBYD are a separate company to us, but we are a member of them. So as such if you can include the logo then all good, but if you can't then that is fine. If you have any questions then feel free to yell out. Thanks Ben
