What's your vision?
I'd like an infographic that helps people wrap their brains around the various Google search tricks that help them enhance their searches for everyday usable information. I'm thinking along the lines of a "top 10", but I'm not stuck to that idea, if it ends up being too much information to convey. The challenge will be to take something that is inherently visually boring (the google search box) and make it striking and memorable. They are: 1. Track Flights: [(airline) and (flight number)] 2. unit/currency conversion: [(125) USD to yen, 10 gallons to liters, etc] 3. shop a price range: [ camera $50..$100] 4. fill in the blank: [ "a * saved is a * earned" ] 5. weather: [weather (your zip code)] 6. movies: [movies (your zip code)] 7. document type: [filetype: pdf] 8. math: [%, +, -, *, /, etc.] 9. similar images [(drop an image into the image search box)] 10. sports scores [(team name)] 11. stock quotes: [(stock symbol)] More info can be found here: http://support.google.com/websearch/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=136861 and here: http://www.google.com/help/features.html
More info: 1. Size: whatever the info fits best on. 2. Colors: possibly a variation of the Google palette ( e.g. pastels), otherwise, I'm open. 3.
