We are a technology company located in San Francisco. The target audience for this design will be lawyers. PLEASE NOTE: No one at our company wears suits, we are a start-up and have a pretty casual office. Also, we recruit for diversity and want people of all genders, ages, orientations, races, ethnicities, religious backgrounds, etc. to feel comfortable to apply to this position.

We would like a clean design. I think we would like a white background. Highlight the text, not graphics.

We're hiring a legal officer to join our company. We would like a designer to develop a document that we will use to market this position on various job boards. It should look attractive, fit all of the information, and fit our branding.

Summary:
The Chief Legal Officer (CLO) is responsible for advising TrueAccord’s executive team, Board, and management on a variety of business aspects including but not limited to: the interpretation of regulations governing the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), and the implementation of a compliance strategy to ensure conformity with all laws, regulations, and policies that govern the company. This position reports directly to the CEO.

Essential Job Functions:
Possess adept knowledge of the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA)
Provide practical advice and counsel regarding TrueAccord’s obligations as a an employer, including, but not limited to, policy review and creation, employment issues, taxes, and licensing
Must possess demonstrated negotiation, problem-solving, decision-making, and executive leadership skills
Develop and manage an in-house legal team
Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide general guidance on how to avoid similar situations in the future
Identify, analyze and report on important legislative and regulatory developments
Provide legal counsel on issues arising from actual or anticipated lawsuits
Represent TrueAccord, as appropriate, in various legal proceedings
Write, review, and edit reports, opinions, correspondence, contracts, and other legal documents
Respond to government investigations, audits and queries as the principal point of contact
Manage General Counsel, external counsel, and general litigation

Requirements:
7-10 years of relevant experience required
Masters in one of the following or related fields: Law and Legal Studies required or equivalent combination of education and work experience
Must currently be a member in good standing of the bar of the US, California
This job requires US Citizenship
