Design a magazine ad for bourbon bar opening during the pandemic

About Rebellion: Rebellion is a bourbon-focused bar and restaurant. Its basic tenets were formed from a brief, yet important part of American history, The Whiskey Rebellion. We offer over 150 types of bourbon and whiskey as well as a great selection of cocktails, wine and beer. And while Rebellion loves bourbon whiskey, the name only tells half of the story. Rebellion exemplifies all the characteristics of the classic American tavern while providing an upscale dining experience without the added price. Originally founded in Washington, DC in 2014, Rebellion has since expanded to Wilmington, NC; Arlington, VA. Rebellion has received notoriety for DC’s Best Burger and has been listed as one of America’s Best Bourbon Bars by Bourbon Review Magazine. Target Market for this ad: People that live in the Fredericksburg, Virginia region. Bourbon enthusiasts will definitely be more interested in our restaurant, but we are targeting everyone in the region. Restaurant is family friendly. Fredericksburg is where we are opening our newest restaurant location this November.

This ad will be full page and placed in the American Lifestyle Magazine (sample of this attached also called Issue 105) created by a local realtor in the Fredericksburg, Virginia market. Distribution for the magazine will be to her clients/local businesses. Her magazine features local attractions, art and culture in the area. Our ad will fall at the back of the magazine. Specs are uploaded as well as multiple photos of food/drink from restaurant. You don’t have to use all of them – whatever you think looks best with concept you brainstorm. Couple needs for the ad: 1. Include a free appetizer coupon if they bring in the ad – expires Dec 31, 2021 2. Located in Historic Downtown Fredericksburg 3. Include address and website (309 William Street, Fredericksburg, VA 22401 / rebellionfxbg.com). Also include placeholder for phone number - will have by end of contest so we can add it as a revision. As far as messaging goes, we haven’t done any print ads before, so don’t currently have a strong value proposition statement or lead for this kind of advertisement. Would love to see what you come up with based on what you learn about the brand.
