Absolutely creative and very pleasant. Awesome work! Puts a lot of emphasis on the details.
Excellent, would use again. Read the brief and communicated in an excellent manner.

Who are you known as?
Georgia Institute of Technology
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a public research university.
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
We want a figure illustrating our new technology for an academic science journal.
Attached sketch (file1.png) demonstrates the idea.
* Description of the sketch:
[Upper half, left to right]
A pair of glasses with a small outward facing camera embedded in the bridge over the nose is our hardware. When two people are interacting with each other in face to face, this device worn by the left person captures the moments of the other person's eye contact (green row) vs anything else (red row). The two rightmost images are actual examples of such moment.
[Lower half, left to right]
We list a couple of possible real-world settings where this technology can be used for measuring eye contact.
A. Medical or research setting. Adult (doctor/researcher/parent) wears the glasses and interact with a very young child (infant/toddler).
B. Adult - young child play interaction. Settings can be daycare, kindergarten or home. Parent/caregiver/teacher wears the glasses and plays with the child.
C. Clinical setting for adults with neuropsychological problems. Clinician/therapist/counselor wears the glasses and talks with an adult patient over the table. A more casual clothes than what's in the current clip art would be desirable so that it does not look like a job interview.
A-B-C is ordered chronologically in the age of the subject (i.e., person who is interacting with the camera wearer).
* What needs to be changed:
Illustration of the bottom three clip arts. For illustration style, we want something similar to file2.png.
Proper depiction of the two face-to-face heads in the middle.
Overall design that can help demonstrating the idea more clearly.
* What doesn't need to change:
Actual photos of the glasses, camera/lens, kid's faces
* Other notes:
Glasses should appear the same across in the face-to-face figure and in the use cases.
For the bottom illustrations, we want to leave the details flexible and ambiguous to emphasize the diverseness of the setup that the technology can be applied. Description texts will be provided as caption in our paper, and this figure will be used to illustrate the high-level ideas. For all illustrations two interacting people should be face to face, which is a necessary condition for our technology.
The images of actual children in this sketch are currently stock images and will be eventually replaced with example images recorded by our system for the final design.
