We regularly place half page ads in monthly nursing journals, with a goal to increase both individual and B2B sales. For this particular ad, we are promoting two of our newer continuing education courses: Nurse Manager Certificate Program (https://www.nursingknowledge.org/nu…ourse.html) and Tips for Successful Publishing From Editors (https://www.nursingknowledge.org/ti…ourse.html).
I will attached some ads we have had created in the past, although I don't think any of them have exactly hit the mark.
Some buzz words in the continuing nursing education industry include: peer-reviewed, evidence-based, author by experts in their field, blending learning model.
Sigma Marketplace used to be called Nursing Knowledge International, but after Sigma (the honor society of which the Marketplace is a subsidiary) rebranded, their name has changed to fall more in line with the Sigma brand. With the rebrand, we are still in the middle of figuring out all of brand guidelines. We would like add to look more like the new Sigma brand as opposed to the randomness of the previous ads. I will attach some branding information, along with examples of recent work that has been done for Sigma as an idea about what has been acceptable.
The online course images need to be featured, but we'd love you to be creative in the overall feel, while sticking to the look and feel of our new brand.
As I mentioned above, there are some buzz words when it comes to continuing nursing education, but one thing that our education team is really focusing on right now is the blended learning model. So while these ARE online courses, that isn't where the learning ends. There are "homework assignments" after you view the online module to expand upon your learning, for example, discussion group questions, a role playing scenario, etc. So while stock photography is fine for us to use, it shouldn't necessarily be a nurse sitting at a computer. We do have an account with iStockPhoto.
