We want to produce an advertisement for the trade magazine Designer Kitchen & Bathroom, targeting specifiers, designers, retailers, & developers.
Their last issue is here: http://content.yudu.com/Library/A3d…ruary-2014
The purpose of the advert is to encourage designers to consider planning for audio and to include us early in their plans for a new kitchen or bathroom, something that often only gets considered as an afterthought, if at all. The advert needs to fit with the overall designer style of the magazine. I'm thinking of crisp 'Apple' style adverts with plenty of white background.
Note: the problem with advertising home based audio, and specifically speakers, is that the consumer no longer wants to see it; they want the solution, but for it to be hidden. So images of audio hardware in advertising will be counter-productive.
A couple of ideas.
One using an image such as this:
and maybe superimposing real images of the visible part (ceiling side) of round ceiling speakers into the ceiling area of the plans to draw attention to them as the missing component of many room plans.
The other idea is to simply use an image of a quality contemporary designer kitchen of the type found elsewhere in the magazine.
I’m completely open to more creative suggestions if you have them.
The advert could incorporate the following:
Touch Tick symbol
See Tick symbol
