The attached eBook has been provided for this content and requires 4 or 5 pages as a sample of 'look and feel' from a design perspective to help decide the winner of the contest .

What's your vision?

I require professional typesetting, page layout and relevant images (with captions) for an eBook. The audience is traditionally over 50 years of age. Therefore a conservative though fresh & enticing layout is prefered.

The Brief

Other notes

Preference is to roman times and layout should fit in with David Ogilvy research ie. Drop letters at the beginning of chapters. Images with captions, Upper & Lower case, roman times or a legible recommendation etc.

The briefing asked for an Italian themed recipe book. I love the idea of a chalkboard wall and this reminds me so much of Italian cuisine. From this idea, I tried to have a simple and elegant look to the ebook, using some handmade doodles to complement the lettering I created for the cover. The inside layout keeps the same style, incorporating the Italian flag color as the color scheme.
