About us

Named after the Alabama state flower, the Raycom Media Camellia Bowl is a college football bowl game that annually features a representative from the Sun Belt Conference against one from the Mid-American Conference at the historic Cramton Bowl in Montgomery, Ala. The game is televised live on the ESPN family of networks. Our mission is to provide a memorable experience for student-athletes, coaches and staff, administrations and fans that positively showcases the history, diversity and revitalization of Montgomery, Ala., on a national stage through Southern hospitality and unique events that will increase community spirit and stimulate local economic development. Tagline: History Happens Here.

Red & Blue Football Bowl Program Cover
The flower the bowl is named for sits prettily in the background behind the brand's color scheme, which is overlayed in red/blue. Action takes place with the football player in gray tones to contrast the background will stylized in hatch filter.

2-Page Spread Ad Campaign for Bicycling Org
In these campaign ads, I used circular shapes to form a central graphic that would draw readers in. The shapes are circular to represent bicycle tires, and the lines behind them guide the reader throughout the spread. The lines also communicate a sense of motion and journey. The color palette was inspired from the company's logo files. I liked the yellow because it gave a feeling of energy/warmth and contrasted nicely with the desaturated photos for balance. These magazine ads were given a typographic treatment that would make it easy to input many different messages while still adhering to the brand.
