I have attached a mock up of a design for a sale campaign. I am not
happy with the piece I attached and want a new designer to develop a
fresh piece for this project. The copy is fine but the art is not
This art is a branded awareness piece to alert consumers about the
campaign. This is a fairly typical promotion practiced in one form or
another by most large retail chains.
I wanted something that is iconic and communicates value. I also
wanted a visual component. What I arrived at is:
TITLE: Sunset’s Saving Stars
SUB-HEAD: The Stars Are Out at Sunset
DESCRIPTOR: Save on all of your everyday items! We're giving you the
star treatment for all of your favorites. Save big on everything from
produce to peanut butter. Just follow the stars!
In addition to posters, we would hang large die cut stars around the
stores and use the star logo as part of the shelf sign design theme.
For now, I just need a poster as starting point to establish the
The "swoosh" you see at the top and bottom of the background is a
design element we use in our signage. Some visual reference to that
swoosh needs to remain either exactly or in spirit.
Finally, the title is meant to be a logo which can be used on other
