I want to commend this designer on the outstanding work he did for me. This was my first time using 99Design, and I was skeptical about the skills and responsiveness of contestants. I was amazed at this designer's ability to generate the image I wanted, and follow my string of comments & requests. I am really delighted with the results and would unhesitatingly use this service again.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
I am a physician. I own 2 offices in Southern California. We offer medically supervised support to patients endeavoring to lose weight. We cater mostly to women between the ages of 18-49 but we also see a fair number of men (most of whom are referred in by the women in their lives).
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
I would like an image that we can use in our advertising and promo materials. The idea that I have is to illustrate a sculpture of a person who is overweight. The overweight person is holding a hammer and chisel and sculpting their own body. The image should reveal the person's potential body as a more fit and healthy body under the overweight body. I like the idea of a "work in progress". In other words, the person is mostly overweight but with part of the torso and hip/leg on one side of the body exposed to show the fit body within. The majority of our patients are women so I would like the figure to be female. I imagine the figure to be quite literal but an abstract depiction of this idea might be acceptable.
I am open to other ideas that may illustrate a person taking control and working to reveal/achieve their potential body. My idea does not seem all that original but I was unable to find any images depicting this idea online.
