Absolutely phenomenal designer. Incredibly patient while going through numerous small adjustments and perfecting the design. Beautiful artwork and great sense of style. Also excellent communication and very responsive. Highly recommended!

- Kim Goldenmoon
The reason I selected Kim for this contest is both because she is fast and because her illustrations are perfect for my novels. She didn't dissapoint.
- Phineas Rhubarb
Excellent communication and even better work!!!
Fast, talented, and he listened to my suggestions. Then he developed a cover that perfectly encapsulated my story. I plan to ask licarto to contribute to all my future contests.
- Veerle Vermillion
Veerle listened carefully to the objectives stated in the design brief and generated a very unique and appealing approach to the project that was distinctive from the other entries. Veerle was also quite flexible and open to suggestions and requests. Ultimately, I selected one of his earlier designs which as a lesson for me in the process - to allow the designer to make best judgements. However, I am grateful for his openness. The quality of the finished work was excellent and very appealing. I recommend Veerle and would use again.
How grant.l started their other art or illustration journey
Who are you known as?
Elephant and the Churchkey
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Bar & Nightclub
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The end goal is to have this illustration be the center piece for a new bar that is opening up. The bar is going to be geared towards people in their late 20s and early 30s who are looking for a laid back place that doesn't take itself too seriously
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Aim: An illustration that I can print to a 2 feet x 3 feet (approximately 61 cm by 91 cm) canvas that will be hung behind the bar to appear like an old, classic painting.
Contents: The illustration should include the two people in the attached picture fighting a robot(s) and/or alien(s) in front of the Lincoln memorial. We should be looking heroic/valiant and should be able to see faces. Other than that, the specific are fairly open to what you think is best.
Style: The style should be realistic-ish (e.g. not cartoony), with a preference towards more detail, however other than that the style is open to whatever you think would best work.
Bright colors are good, and clearly emphasizing the area (in front of the Lincoln memorial)
