I like that designer actually paid attention to the breif.
Fantastic designer. Good ideas, generous with revisions. We recommend Xnine!
We love Anna! From little tweaks to whole design concepts, she always knocks it out of the park.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We're a social-startup that produces and markets curry-/masala spice blends (EU-organic certified) according to the original recipes of low-income Indian household women and utilise a part of the turnover to pay for the higher-education fees (e.g. tuition-, boarding-, food-, exam-fees) of these women's children in India.
We're already in test-production and we've had great response from customers and media about the quality and also our business-concept.
Our products carry two main values: 1) Authenticity. We replicate the exact recipes we source from the women we work with in India. This is well transported on our packaging, as we picture the women on the label and use their names for the blends.
2) Social added-value: that's the education part. As we're a social startup the aims to make the world a smarter place by enabling higher-education by leveraging the knowledge of the families we "help". This part is _not_ well transported on our packaging so far and the reason for this contest. (!Important)
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Your mission is to design an element (e.g. badge, illustration or similar logo) that transports/underlines the added value as a social product (i.e. enabling higher-education).
We can well imagine a line-art, hand-drawn or flat element for this, but we're open to your creativity.
The element may contain text (less is better), which needs to be easily replaceable to match local languages (our main market is Germany at the moment).
Important (main criteria for winning this contest):
Once a customer looks at the product the logo/badge/illustration (or similar) needs to make the social mission crystal clear to the customer, within 3-5 seconds.
We have linked our product images, so that you can get an idea how they look at the moment. We'll change the label around (a bit) in the near future: We'll move the EU-organic logo (green flag) to the back of the glas and our brand will appear slightly larger. We'll change some of the text location and reduce the non-compulsory part. The element you work on will appear on the left of the women's face.
The fonts we use are: Baloo (in the brand/company name) and Nunito (main text). The product name is in Zilla Slab (Mozilla Font). All can be found in Google fonts.
The text beneath the EU-organic flag is in Myriad Pro, which is mandatory according to the EU-organic logo style-guide. If you suggest a font for your element, please make sure it corresponds nicely with the existing fonts.
