We are selling children's play mats with tiles that puzzle piece together. The tiles are made of foam and 14" x 14" x 3/4". Our initial set will be 9 tiles that fit together in a square. I've included pictures of a similar product. We need a set of 5 animals that will be on the tiles. 5 of the 9 tiles will have animal graphics. They will likely be cut-out type of foam animals, so we only need the outline of the animal. The animals should be a little abstract and playful. I've included pictures so you can see what we're thinking of. Keep in mind they'll be 3/4" foam pieces, so it shouldn't be complex, otherwise our manufacturing will be too expensive. These animals will be the foundation of our styling on all products going forward, so we'll probably need your services in the future if you're the winner. Thanks.
The initial animals we're looking for are a fox, rabbit, owl, deer (antlers), and racoon. Our theme is North American forest animals, so please feel free to adlib with a squirrel, bear, beaver, etc... It might be easier to just do the head for the deer with the antlers. Please look at the attached photos for what the rabbit should look like. The animals can be comprised of 2 pieces, but they should be large as we do NOT want small pieces because they make a mess and get lost. Ideally, they'll be one large animal per tile. I've included a picture of a similar product with animals to give you an idea. I also included a picture of another play tile with cut-out animals. Please feel free to have fun, but the animal should be easily recognizable.
Color: We are going to make 1 set of bright neon colors with the animals an offsetting neon color similar to the attached pictures. Please give us ideas. We are going to make a set of more suttle colors with grey and cream also. Color is not a requirement of this contest, but it will help us choose a design if we have a more realistic portrait of how it will look as a finished product.
Please try to create an image of the tiles as realistic as possible. We will prefer a designer that creates an image as close to the final product as possible. Pleas feel free to ask questions during the process. Thanks!
