DAVIS is a full service staffing firm that has been dedicated to serving our clients and candidates since 1985. We fulfill contract, contract-to-hire and direct placement staffing needs.

We have a mascot based on our proclivity for filling [job] requisitions named Phil Rexx. Phil is a green T-Rex. He has been out of the game for some years now, and we are trying to bring him back to stimulate engagement through our social media, trade shows and possibly marketing collateral. Our company culture is unique and from the top down there is a “work hard play hard” mentality. We are fun, active, young, professional, money-motivated and outgoing. Phil needs to embody all of these traits and then some. We are looking for a generic, “go-to” design for Phil that we can use and alter moving forward for various purposes. This design should have a 3d element, be semi-realistic but not “Jurassic Park” and ideally the file will be layered, so we can swap out his shirt designs, etc. For the go-to design, we want Phil to have a telephone or blue tooth headset, a dress shirt, and a loose tie. He doesn’t wear pants. Phil should be… - Realistic, but not scary - Green - Confident/friendly looking - Youthful (for a T-Rex) Please find the attached file to get a better understanding of our strategy, Phil Rexx’s backstory and personality traits, and pictures of our current stuffed animal Phils. Feel free to be creative when designing his look. This does not need to be a copy of the stuffed Rexx.

Have fun with this!... Phil Rexx Backstory: Born in the bodacious Cretaceous period, Phil Rexx is the last surviving dinosaur. With a rebel persona, he went it alone until finally he was taken in by a group of headhunters, who made Phil one of their own. Through the ages Phil became known as the most prolific headhunter in the world, filling reqs from caveman days until present day. (wheel makers, farmhands, blacksmiths, etc.) Phil has seen his fair share of ups and downs, including professionally. The most recent of which was the recession, where the reqs simply weren’t available. Phil was beginning to get down on himself until Bob Davis, fellow headhunter, sought Phil out and began recruiting him to join the DAVIS Companies. Bob had heard the tales of Phil Rexx, his tenacity and his good-natured, fun personality. Phil was reluctant to give up his go-it-alone, rebellious lifestyle, but the thought of joining a new family of headhunters was too great to ignore. He joined the DAVIS family in 2013, and began crushing it immediately.
