Quinions got their new app design by running a design contest:
Check out Quinions's App design contest…
Picture base voting for your favorite. An app for instant polls where you choose your favorite based upon pressing on a picture. With voting there will be either 2, 3 or 4 choices to vote for.
Have a look at the attached mockups, they are ok but do not tie in with the logo. I want the app to have a very clean feel, users vote and then they scroll down to the next one.
The main feed screen, the one that shows all the current quinions in order. I have attached some mock ups, but these are not great however will give an indication of what the app will look like. These mockups for just for the individual question, there will be a menu above this that will have search icon, profile icon, notification icon. People will also be able to swipe to switch between feeds, 'friends' 'trending' and 'browse'. There can be picture based voting (which will think will be the majority) and also text based voting, so both have to look like they work together. Forget about the actual questions in the mockups, we will be focusing on things like, which outfit is best, who was the best play in last nights game etc. There can be 2, 3 or 4 options put as answers. Note that the list of quinions will be scrollable, so no need for a next button people will just scroll below once they have answered Must include timestamp of when posted (can be in hours ago, minutes ago, days ago etc).
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. App design starts at $599.
Full copyright with production-ready files for digital and/or print.
It all began with a design brief.

Designers across the globe delivered design magic.
Quinions collaborated with designers to refine their ideas
When design entries come in, you can rate them so designers know what you’re looking for in your logo design.
99designs has great collaboration tools so you can pinpoint and capture your ideas
And then… they selected a winner!
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
