The colors are currently inspired by the Indian flag. The main color is India saffron, white, India green, saffron color is base color and green is an accent color.
But in this contest, we would like to get any color suggestions without being stuck to these existing colors. The current style is a deformed flat design. (A typical flat design feels too hard for Indian users.)
However, designers are free to suggest this too. And It is best to follow Google's material design guide.
Things to consider
1. To consider the Fin-Tech service. We would like you to consider in terms of UX, such as cognitive aspect and readability, Usability for user
2. The True Balance app can only be used by people with a prepaid phone in India. Therefore, the preference of middle-income Indian people is most important.
True Balance (India Android)
The True Balance check page consists of three main functions.
1. mobile balance check 2. mobile balance update 3. mobile balance statistics
Two Sim Cards of the user configure each card. When the user pulls the card down, it checks and updates the latest balance.
There are four check page issues in True Balance.
1. Configure scrolling-enabled pages and interactions
2. Easy and quick balance check UI, like pull-down check
3. Supportable UI for various packs(=mobile plan)
4. Recharge flow smoothly from Balance Check
Four issues are the evaluation criteria for the project.
1. Form of Scrollable pages-Interaction
: Please link issue No.2 to a scrollable page.
(Current situation) If you pull down the card which means 1 mobile plan, it refreshes with the latest balance value of the corresponding mobile plan. I want to extend the usable check page screen longer. However, it does not expand because it conflicts with the refresh pull-down behavior and the scroll-down behavior.
The check page screen is where we can put a lot of content. So, after you change the pulldown, when you are able to scroll, True Balance will add various event banners and functions using the expanded space.
2. Easy and quick balance check UI, such as pull-down check
: When checking the balance, please suggest an easy and fast reload method.
(Current situation) Reloaded when the card is pulled down. Please note that Indian users have a lot of official languages. Therefore, it is possible to use letters such as English, but it should include an intuitive icon.
3. Supportable UI for various mobile plans
: When you check the data usage on the check page, please suggest the UI so that a total of 64 cases(Sim Card 1~2pcs X Mobile Plan 0~7pcs) can be counted. However, the main mobile plans of each Sim Card must be shown at once.
(Current situation) You can see two Sim Cards and two Mobile Plans at once.
(Background) Most people in India use main balance and data packs(=mobile plans). However, they also use mobile plan such as message plans, night plans (cheap at night, or unlimited only use at night). And 80% of our users use Dual Sim. Usually Indian is used for 2 ~ 3 mobile plans per sim card, and up to 7 mobile plans can be used.
(Small Issues) When Indians use a variety of Mobile Plans in one Sim Card, the order in which they appear in the main mobile plan and in the secondary main mobile plan (Only the two most important mobile plans are shown directly on the check page, and the rest of the mobile plans are hidden or the buttons are visible.).
Now, because of the first sim card, the second sim card goes down the screen. (If the first sim card has more than three plans, you can not see any second sim card.)
Mobile Plan types
- Main Balance (quantity such as Money or Mb etc) / Main Balance Explanation: You can use both call and data message. But If you take a talk time plan, since data and call are both high deducted.
- Rate cutter: A plan that helps you use the main balance cheaply
- Data plan (quantity and expiration date)
- Message plan (with quantity and expiration date)
- Call plan (quantity and validity period)
- Night plan (validity period, available time zone)

mobile plan: 1-1.Full talk(=Both use for data and call) 1-2. rate cutter
2-1. Call pack(=mobile plan) 2-2 Data pack(=mobile plan)
4. Recharge flow smoothly from balance check
: Please suggest a flow that can make recharge more easily and faster after Balance Check.
The flow from balance check to recharge of existing True Balance can be seen through video and image. Or, download it directly from the Android Market and try it out.
