Food & Drink
FoodTap is an app that allows users to rank individual menu items at restaurants, i.e., #1 Cheeseburger in San Diego. The app is already built, but we would like to update the design and make it more sleek and simple. The UI of the app will not change, we're just doing a facelift and looking for a new color palette as well.
We like the simplicity of apps like RobinHood and Acorns, though we don't want it to be a single solid color. We also like apps like FourSquare.
1. Restaurant landing page. This is the page for an individual restaurant, i.e., McDonalds. On this page we have the phone number, a slider for images of food, a view of how many rankings and comments it has, and the individual rankings for their menu, i.e., #1 Burger, #3 Fries, #5 Ice Cream, etc. 2. Map landing page. On this screen the user can interact with the map to see locations near them, and also scroll through to see what restaurants have how many rankings. 3. Search page. This is where is a user can search for a restaurant or a menu item, i.e., "cheeseburger" or "Burger King". 4. Ranking page. From the restaurant landing page, a user can rank an item themselves. This allows them to choose a position for an item, such as #3 for a Big Mac from McDonald's, and then submit.
What to avoid
We would like to do a facelift that is more contemporary in nature. The current design is too busy and seems dated to us now. We would like lighter colors and a simple style that doesn't have so much going on.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. App design starts at $599.

Masiko is one of the best designers I've worked with in over 20 years. Clean design, swift delivery, and no hesitance to making changes and following feedback.
As someone who has worked with designers hailing from McCann and EuroESCG (Havas) I can tell you that any work you get from Masiko will be fantastic.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
