MenloED's app, entitled "DOLPHIN", is a social media, content sharing "app" for iPhone initially (and then Android) that a teacher (or administrator) can create an account, review comments, post a comment, comment on someone else's post, upload pics, put text in front of pictures. The goal is to review posts by sliding your finger from right to left on a screen (to scroll through new posts) and then if a user wants to review comments or make a comment on a single post, the user scrolls up and down. Each user is called a "Dolphin", and can make posts, or create groups called "Pods". Each Group when created can be categorized (e.g. 7th Grade, Math, or High School PhysEd etc, or Principals) , and then users can 'post' under specific "Pods" - PODS are user groups - invite only, and are managed by the creator who is the administrator of the POD. ****************************************************************************************** We are looking for the following APP Page Designs (also, see the WORD document as a reference) 1. Registration Process Screen Layout Design 2. Screen Design for reviewing Posts / Pictures / Comments 3. Screen Design for PODS (which is the term used for creating a custom GROUP) 4. Main Menu Screen Design and Layout- referred to as the Hidden Main Menu in the word document on page 5 5. Main Screen Design - with the ICONS that show up on every Screen- this is called the "FEED MAIN SCREEN" on page 1 of the word document IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU REFER TO SIMILAR APPS such as WHISPER AND KNOALA AS SIMILAR Designs and Layouts to what we would like to see in DOLPHIN

The app will function similar to WHISPER and have a similar application to the iphone APP: Knoala; PINTEREST is another app that is very similar to what we are doing, BUT it is education focused - on education by educators. I strongly suggest any designer to review those applications and the document uploaded. It is VERY important that the style is fun, consumer focused, but we are staying AWAY from education focused icons such as "pencils", "Books", "Graduation Caps or Gowns" etc.
