Fish on Fire got their new app design by running a design contest:
Design refreshing mockups for an energy company
Check out Fish on Fire's App design contest…
WHAT IS THE APP ABOUT: The app is for customers from an energy supplier. This is a young and refreshing company. In the app it will be possible to see your energy usage as a consumer. It will be possible to switch between gas and electricity and compare your usage with other timeframes and locations. The app also keeps users informed through messages. OUR TYPICAL USER: Young people who buy their first home.
We are open for free interpretations, but keep in mind that the app must comply with the iOS guidelines.
We would like to see mockups for two screens; inbox and usage graph. Screen1: INBOX Goal: the goal of this screen is to give users an overview of their notifications and qualify their urgency with different icons. Sections to include on the screen: • brand name and logo • list of notifications • two different icons: one for general messages and one for push messages • button to select message as 'unread' when user swipes message in list Added InVision link for visualization: https://projects.invisionapp.com/share/2CA2518WN#/screens/214720968 Screen2: USAGE GRAPH Goal: Give our users a quick overview of usage Sections to include on the screen: • segment control for different type of views (hourly, daily, etc.) • location selections as legend • graph with usage bars based on type of view • timeframe bar which enables the user to switch in timeframes Added InVision link for visualization: https://projects.invisionapp.com/share/2CA2518WN#/screens/214721415
