What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Climb.jobs (note: name is Climb) is a company that helps non-traditional applicants (those with limited work experience, less than a year of college, or no college at all) find 21st-century jobs that have some element of technology from simple machinery operation to advanced computing.
What do you have in mind for the style and theme of the app?
First and foremost we want it to be simple, empowering, and modern. This is built for people that are non-traditional and have gone against the grain in life, but they need to figure out how to get into the workforce. Chances are they may not have done great in school and get frustrated easily with tedious tasks, but they have special talents which can help them achieve their potential and we want them to feel like their making progress while using CLIMB. This is a two-sided marketplace where employers connect with people 22-29. Applicants go through a lengthy profile process (which needs to feel very light) and then our AI can tell them traits that are unique to them. We can use these traits to create enhanced resumes for employers that help them understand why an applicant with limited experience may be a great fit, and it also allows us to give the applicant's job recommendations. We are open to colors and photography, but I would look at CLIMB.JOBS for overall look and feel of site. I will include inspirations below of other sites that we like, and I REALLY REALLY suggest that you download 1-3 of the apps and go through the sign-up process for the applicants to see how the UI/UX works. It'll give you a huge headstart on seeing how someone else who has $100M+ business has created a successful sign-up. If the job is completed successfully and we like the working relationship we will also ask to work with you for the employer side of the application as well.
1) Applicant will download app - see main screen (2) applicant will see be asked to sign in via facebook or email - needs to be designed (3) applicant will see main profile page with 3 tabs at bottom - Jobs - matches - profiles (4) applicant will go through each section of profile - needs to be designed (5) they will enter in education, resume, skills on one page (6) they will be taken to another page to take a soft skills assessment - needs to be designed - but soft skills will be completed inanother app (7) they will see results of softskills after they've taken assessment - needs to be designed(8) applicant can then see job recommendations in 'jobs' tab - needs to be designed. At the very least there are 6 screens that need to be designed, with a potential for 3 more , and that is just for this project.
