Christianwmartin got their new app design by running a design contest:
Creative yet Simple iPhone Fitness app
Check out Christianwmartin's App design contest…
This app tracks a users daily activity in a visual representation that morphs throughout the day based on #of steps. In it's most basic form, it is a pedometer, but instead of displaying progress with a number, it does it with an "animation." At the beginning of the day, the human form is big and round and passive. At the end of the day (as it nears 100% goal) the figure becomes strong, active and flexing
I would like the app UI to function much like a similar app that tracks water input called WaterMinder https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/waterminder-water-hydration/id653031147?mt=8 I would like the human figure to be playful and fill up with green "fill" See green buddha as inspiration. The figure should light up with a glow when it reaches 100%
Daily Evolution - Fitness one day at a time
The main screen tracks the users activity for the day against the target goal. This screen should have the following: 1. Progress Bar at the bottom with percentage done and percentage to go, as well as # of steps that day. 2. Human representation, from 0 steps to 100% animation consisting of a morphing body, date and time, facebook and twitter share, and menu on the sidebar. 3. Button to manually add steps (using scroll bar) 4. Social Media buttons 5. Step count at the top, (incl. remaining steps) The second screen is the history. This screen will have a bar graph of the users history, and a list of past days, with a visual icon on the left side. The third screen is settings, including 1. Man or Woman 2. Adjust Daily Goal 3. Reminders 4. Rate this app 5. Give Feedback 6. Tell a friend 7. Contact Us 8. More Apps See attached specs for more info
