chase.amante got their new app design by running a design contest:
Create a slick app design for the "What To Text Her" App
Check out chase.amante's App design contest…
App provides video instruction and sample text messages to easily allow app owners to figure out exactly what text messages to send.
Our usual colors are orange, gray, and white. It's not mandatory the app use these colors. However, they are the colors readers most associate with our brand.
What To Text Her
1: MAIN SCREEN: allows the user to navigate the app and select video or text subcategories. See mockup (attached to brief). NOTE: mockup shows five (5) navigation choices at bottom. These are: "Tier I: First Texts" through "One Date". We'd like to include SIX (6) categories at bottom: the five on the mockup plus (on the very left) "What To Text Her Back." Design notes: in our mockup, we used a "text message" design as part of the background. "One Date System" is a sales letter for a different product, rather than a text message category, so we've made this button a different color. 2: TEXT SELECT SCREEN: after a user chooses a text subcategory, he'll see a variety of text message choices to choose from. We want to make these readable without being cluttered. See the second two apps in the "websites to draw inspiration from" list above. You can also check out screenshots and video walkthroughs in these two Dropbox links: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/59hstd5o02vgjkz/AAAW9Ur48WVOGZfsBwlHPFjqa?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/9ccd02q84nmvsor/ScreenRecording_02-26-2019%2016-21-30.m4v?dl=0 3: ACTIVE TEXT SCREEN: after a user clicks on a text to read, we'll need to display the full text for that text. This screen should show how that looks. You may wish to refer to the examples listed under Screen 2 above for inspiration. IMPORTANT: somewhere under the text on the "Active Text Screen", we want to include a little line that says "Have you sent her this text?" Users should either click on this or click a checkmark next to this (please see which design looks better to you) to confirm if they've sent this text to a girl. This button opens a popover. 4: POPOVER SCREEN: we'll use the popover screen for three things: 1.) as the onboarding screen, to provide onboarding to a user who's just downloaded the app. 2.) to allow users who've clicked the "UNLOCK ALL CONTENT" button to purchase the locked app content. And 3.) to pop up for users who've clicked onthe "Have you sent her this text?" button -- this popup will ask "Did she respond how you wanted?" and show the user another screen depending on how he responds. NOTE: please just design one version of the popover screen (you don't need to design all three popovers!).
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. App design starts at $599.
