Entertainment & The Arts
Muzze is an audioguide app. It shows the relevant audio information of the objects around you. It does so by using iBeacon bluetooth technology. Visitors Museum visitors can download the app. Once started the app will see if the visitors is located in a museum that uses Muzze and will download the tour content straight away. Once downloaded the app will start showing an overview of the art that is around you as soon as the smartphone is in reach of the bluetooth signal. Visitors can click on an image in the overview and a detailsscreen wil show a pictur of the piece of art and the audio will start playing automatically. Curators The app is multi-sided and can also be used by curator of musea to create the audiotour. In this mode, the app will have an overview screen of all the art object for which the curator created an audio stop. We also want a redesign of the detailscreen where you create an audiostop. This screen shows a picture of the art object, a title and collection and the bluetooth spot’s name to which it is connected. In the bottom of the screen are several controls visible (record the audio, make a picture, a location pin, and the removal basket).

We are looking for something simple and beautiful. Not too many colors, but subtle elegance is best. The app should ooze freshness, modern, light architecture. The art is what's it alle about and should be given as space as possible. Our own website: http://muzze.co (english version on staging: http://muzze-staging.solbeat.nl:8080/en/) has a predominant blue colour. Don't get distracted by this. Any color is fine as long as there is a good reasons to pick it.
We need 4 designs: Pls check http://muzze-staging.solbeat.nl:8080/en/page/design 1. visitor - object overview screen (current issue: pictures are too tiny for visitors to distinguish) 2. visitor -object detail screen(current issue: visitors don’t understand the audio already started coz of autoplay) 3. curator - object overview screen (This overview screen looks a bit dull, you can see alle collections and the stops they have in them) 4. curator - object detail screen (this screen needs some rework, some funtionality might be added in the future so take that into account) We are looking for something simple and beautiful. Not too many colors, but subtle elegance is best. Here (http://muzze-staging.solbeat.nl:8080/en/page/design) you can see images of the working prototype, please include all elementsin the prototype image in your design, but feel free to experimentwith placement, size, color, additional graphical elements, etc. You can also check the main website http://muzze.co to check other pages and the video to get a feel for how the appworks
What to avoid
Any images and backgrounds should be included at original and 2x resolutions in .png format. Also, and this is important, any alphanumerics should be in a TTF font (with font file.. ie.. exampleFont.ttf) with creative commons license that we can include in the application. This has to be a standard iOS font(family). This will be translated into multiple languages so no images with text. All text and numbers should be in a specified font with font files included as a deliverable. We should be able to recreate your design exactly from font files and included graphics. We are looking for practical creativity! There is a chance for good exposure here as we will use the new design in our Pitch at Web Summit, coming November. Please see the following links for the international event where we will pitch our app with the new design. Congratulations to our 200 finalists http://blog.websummit.net/200-pitch-shortlist/
